Terry Berman is dedicated
to increasing the capability of organizations and individuals to
understand and effectively address the impact of racism, sexism
classism, heterosexism, ageism and other “isms” in their
environments.
Through training, consultation, coaching and organizational development,
Terry Berman assists organizations to integrate multiculturalism
into all aspects of their organization.
To implement effective, enduring change, Terry Berman works closely
with leadership, seeing their role in implementing multiculturalism
as critical. She supports internal capacity building by providing
ongoing skills development based on actual situations that managers
and leaders need to address. Accountability across the organization
is developed through concrete personal and organizational goals
directly tied to the provision of culturally appropriate services
delivered in an environment of mutual respect.
Terry Berman has developed innovative programs to support multicultural
leadership development and multicultural organizational change.
This includes the development of multicultural best practices in
key areas, such as, hiring and retention, supervision and evaluation,
program design and outreach, board development and collaborations.
Her approach to training and consultation addresses personal and
organizational levels of change. She provides safe learning environments
that support clients to acknowledge, understand, value and utilize
their own cultural identities as well as the similarities and differences
of people from other cultural groups.

consultants with extensive experience in individual, group and organizational
