Leadership Program
We recognize the particular challenges facing leaders in instituting
an ongoing multicultural change process.
The Multicultural Leadership Group is designed to:
- Create a network of allies in leadership positions to share
best practices for instituting a multicultural process in their
organizations.
Areas include:
Outreach, hiring and retention
Supervision and evaluation
Program design
Expansion of services to underserved populations
- Develop strategies to incorporate people of different cultural
backgrounds into all levels of the organization
- Re-conceptualize how to make decisions so to best utilize both
organizational and community resources
- Understand how to use a process and results-oriented approach
to diversity and equity issues
- Continue self awareness work to understand how it impacts interpersonal
and institutional decisions
Develop a contextual perspective about the economic and social
implications of changing demographics in the U.S.
SERVICES: Biweekly coaching plus 4 daylong sessions
with entire group.
